Extended Playing Techniques

If you're looking for new "sources" and want to know what else our instrument has to offer beyond the "beautiful sound," you've come to the right place: experimental playing with noises and sounds is my specialty.

I'm happy to share inspiration and my expertise in workshops and lessons to expand your playing technique and develop your personal tonal language.

Possible topics could include:

• Noise and sound production using vowels and consonants • Playing on flute parts • Circular breathing with the flute reed • Slap-tongue, flutter tongue, multiple sounds, whistletones, noise tones, percussive effects • Voice and flute tone • Improvisation games • Space as a score • Graphic score • Free improvisation

Erweiterte Spieltechniken

Wer nach neuen „Quellen" sucht und wissen will, was jenseits des „schönen Klanges“ noch alles in unserem Instrument steckt ist  bei mir richtig: experimentelles Spiel mit Geräuschen und Klängen ist meine "Spezialität".

Gerne gebe ich in Workshops und im Unterricht Inspiration und mein Know-How zur Erweiterung Deiner Spieltechnik und zur Entwicklung Deiner persönlichen Klangsprache weiter. 

Mögliche Themen können beispielsweise sein:

• Geräusch- und Klangerzeugung mittels Vokalen und Konsonanten • Spiel auf Flötenteilen • Zirkularatmung mit dem Flötenrohr • Slap-tongue, Flatterzunge, Mehrfachklänge, Whistletones, Geräuschtöne, perkussive Effekte • Stimme und Flötenton •  Improvisationsspiele • Der Raum als Partitur • Grafische Partitur • Freie Improvisation
